Staying with Us

• Whilst every effort is taken to allocate you your chosen room, it may be necessary, in exceptional circumstances, to allocate a different room. If possible we will notify you of this in advance.

• Our check-in hours are between 4 and 6pm. Guests are welcome to drop bags prior to check-in. Please contact us to arrange.

• Late check-in is available by prior arrangement only. Last check-in 10pm.

• Check-out by 11am

• Strictly no smoking throughout the property

• Good strong WiFi throughout

• Honesty bar stocking a well curated selection of local beers plus wines, soft drinks and snacks, available in the Breakfast room

• Filtered tap water is available in the dining area and we place a carafe of filtered tap water in each room which is refillable on request. We are also happy to refill guests ‘Forever Bottles’ as often as required.

• Freshly ground Doghouse Coffee, our own blend roasted just 50 metres from the BB&B.

• Black and green teas and infusions from a local Tea Sommelier.

• Hand-built Belgian bikes are made available to you for the duration of your stay with us

• Local car parking is by arrangement and charged at €14 per night. Alternatively we can advise the location of free parking on the city limits.

• Dogs welcome but not required! It is essential that you advise us when booking if you are travelling with your dog as not all our rooms are dog-friendly. Dog-friendly accommodation is provided in our Roxy & Dexter Rooms at no charge for one small/medium dog.

• Large and/or one additional dog at a charge of €10 per night.

• Typical of Brugsie houses of its time The Doghouse does have a steep spiral staircase. Whilst we can help you with your luggage, you will need to carry yourselves to your rooms! Please ask if you need more advice.



Cancellations and Charges

• Cash, debit or credit cards accepted, we do need a card number at the time of booking.

• In the event of cancellation or no show, we have a policy of 14 days prior to check in, after this time the room must be paid for in full. Before this time we will gladly change or cancel your room without charge. Please telephone to cancel your room on 00 32 (0)468 311 000 (We will not accept or be held responsible for cancellation via email).






• Each room enjoys an open-plan en-suite bathroom with rain shower over, heated towel rail and organic towels.

• LA:Bruket bathroom toiletries; simple, natural products that nurture, protect, soften and heal

• All our rooms are generous doubles with solid oak Kingsize beds

• Bed linen is precisely that, sumptuous pure Belgian linen; crisp & cool in summer, warm & cosy in winter

• Our beds are made with luxurious feather and down duvets, pillows and mattress toppers for your comfort. We also have hypoallergenic bedding available on prior request.

• Breakfast is included; Full English breakfast with a bottomless coffee and freshly squeezed juice is the norm but we are also more than happy to cater for alternative tastes and needs including omelettes, waffles with banana & chocolate sauce or granola with yoghurt, honey & seasonal fruit.

• Hairdryer & cotton towelling robes are provided in all rooms.

• Loose green & black tea, freshly ground filter coffee and filtered water in each room.

• Room at the Top can accommodate a 3rd person on the resident chaise, which adapts to a single bed. There is a small additional charge of €15 per night for breakfast, please request at the time of booking.

• Room at the Top is a dog-free room.
